I’ve a few pieces showing with this weekend at the . It’s a beautiful space in London with exceptionally talented artists represented by different galleries. Well worth a browse for a couple of hours to soak up the atmosphere and work.

READY TO RESIN - as these are small pieces I use spacers to keep them away from the surface they sit on. During curing the resin can spill over the edges. If there are no spacers the resin could stick to the mount block and the base surface. 🤞

VARNISHING DAY in the studio. This is the third coat for these bonsai Symmetree Oak pieces. One more after this then it’s time to add the tin leaf edges. These black and white pieces explore tonal ranges and how we perceive them. STAR TRACES - Lovely to hear from Sue at @beumeefineart in Tunbridge Wells that these 3 resin block wall pieces have found a home together. Part of the process of making them was to try and visualise where they would eventually be placed. TIDELINES III - The Solway Firth coastline has rightly become a place to relax, enjoy, play, party and to be honest just stand in awe of. We feel so lucky to have tripped into it, to make it our place to stay and set up the wee cottages @myrtleandrosecottages . Having such a place on our doorstep it inevitably has become inspiration and material for new work.
